Hi, My name is Matt Webster, I'm the owner of Golden Shield Roofing and I'm glad you're here! I was born and raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut, but my career took me to Houston, Texas where I worked my way up to become Vice President of one of the largest single location roofing companies in the country. After helping lead them to over 45,000 roof installs while maintaining a 5 star rating. I decided to build my own company -- And I wanted to do it where I grew up. From my experience in the industry I've seen the WILD, lack of professionalism and focus on the customer experience there is in the roofing industry. Everything was centered around making money, which obviously every business wants, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the customer. I wanted to build a company that went above and beyond to give the customer the best experience possible, one that was so good, they would want to tell their friends and family. From reviewing every roof myself onsite, to the personal project dashboard we provide for every customer to ensuring each homeowner is kept in the loop 100% of the time throughout the whole process with constant communication. My goal is to grow while maintaining a philosophy of 'customer first' and level of personal touch that makes every customer feel valued and I know this approach will be more difficult, but rewarding in the long run.
